Removalists in Vaucluse

The hardest part of a Vaucluse move happens before anything is lifted. Steep harbour-side blocks, long battle-axe drives, sandstone steps running down toward the water. So we survey the access first, walk the drive, measure the turn, plan the carry, and only then send the truck that fits.

How we work

Access planning first. Lifting second.

Any crew can carry a sofa. The judgement is in what happens before: whether the truck can make the bend on Coolong Road, where it stands on Hopetoun Avenue while the neighbours still need to pass, how a piano travels forty metres of garden path without a mark on it. That judgement is what you're hiring.

You tell us about the move

The address, the rough size, anything that worries you. The form takes two minutes; the Access Survey takes five and tells you more.

We walk the access

Drive geometry, turning room, carry path, parking. On foot, before move day, so nothing is discovered with a loaded truck on the street.

The plan is confirmed in writing

Truck size, crew tier, the hourly rate that applies, and how the awkward pieces travel. You know the method before you commit.

Move day runs to the plan

The truck that fits, a crew briefed on the path, protection down first. Quiet streets stay quiet.

The Access Survey

Plot your move the way we would

Eight questions: the street, the home and its size, the drive, the fall of the block, the turning room, the longest carry, the biggest piece. It returns a surveyor's reading, the truck we'd bring, the crew tier and its honest rate, and what we'd confirm on the walk-through.

It estimates and steers. It never prices the whole job sight-unseen, nobody honest can.

Schedule of rates · Published
Straight answers about money

Three crews. Three published rates.

Most firms working this suburb won't print a number. Ours are on the page: hourly, by crew size, with the online-booking rate and the standard rate side by side.

Tier 1 · Booked online

Two movers, one truck

Apartments, units and small moves

$200/hr online

$250/hr standard

Right for the Rose Bay end flats, walk-ups and lift buildings, and any move a single truck clears in a morning.

Tier 2 · Booked online

Three movers, one truck

Houses, two to three bedrooms

$250/hr online

$350/hr standard

The workhorse crew for most Vaucluse houses. The third pair of hands is what keeps a long garden carry moving.

Tier 3 · Booked online

Four movers, two trucks

Large homes, four bedrooms and up

$400/hr online

$500/hr standard

For the big established homes, decades of contents, two trucks so nothing waits on a second trip.

Hours depend on the day, so we never promise a total sight-unseen. What we will do is put the crew tier and rate in writing after the walk-through, before you commit. How the rates work, in detail.

The practice

Quiet competence, measured twice

We're a small removals practice built around one belief: on this headland, the moves that go well are the ones somebody walked first. No spectacle in the street, no drama at the door, straight answers about cover and cost before you book.

Booked online through this site, backed by a national contractor network for the interstate legs.

About the practice
