Right for the Rose Bay end flats, walk-ups and lift buildings, and any move a single truck clears in a morning.
Vaucluse · Watsons Bay · Rose Bay · Dover Heights · Bellevue Hill
The hardest part of a Vaucluse move happens before anything is lifted. Steep harbour-side blocks, long battle-axe drives, sandstone steps running down toward the water. So we survey the access first, walk the drive, measure the turn, plan the carry, and only then send the truck that fits.
Any crew can carry a sofa. The judgement is in what happens before: whether the truck can make the bend on Coolong Road, where it stands on Hopetoun Avenue while the neighbours still need to pass, how a piano travels forty metres of garden path without a mark on it. That judgement is what you're hiring.
The address, the rough size, anything that worries you. The form takes two minutes; the Access Survey takes five and tells you more.
Drive geometry, turning room, carry path, parking. On foot, before move day, so nothing is discovered with a loaded truck on the street.
Truck size, crew tier, the hourly rate that applies, and how the awkward pieces travel. You know the method before you commit.
The truck that fits, a crew briefed on the path, protection down first. Quiet streets stay quiet.
Most of our work is whole homes, planned properly. Around that sit the jobs that come with them: the staged downsize, the estate handled for an executor, the pieces that need more care than muscle.
The whole-home move with the survey built in. Drive walked, truck matched, carry planned, then the lifting.
The service, in full →Leaving a long-held home in stages, not a single frantic day. Planned around you, months out if needed.
How a staged move runs →Wrap, crate and carry method for the irreplaceable pieces, inside the same surveyed move.
The method →Full or partial packs, cartons and paper delivered ahead, everything labelled to land in the right room.
Packing, plainly →For executors and families clearing a house respectfully: method, inventory, straight answers in writing.
For the person organising →The flats along the New South Head Road corridor, walk-ups included. Two movers, one truck, $200/hr online.
Apartments, honestly →Also handled plainly: storage coordination, renovation decants, and interstate moves through our network. The full schedule of services.
Eight questions: the street, the home and its size, the drive, the fall of the block, the turning room, the longest carry, the biggest piece. It returns a surveyor's reading, the truck we'd bring, the crew tier and its honest rate, and what we'd confirm on the walk-through.
It estimates and steers. It never prices the whole job sight-unseen, nobody honest can.
Most firms working this suburb won't print a number. Ours are on the page: hourly, by crew size, with the online-booking rate and the standard rate side by side.

The workhorse crew for most Vaucluse houses. The third pair of hands is what keeps a long garden carry moving.
Large homes, four bedrooms and up

$500/hr standard
For the big established homes, decades of contents, two trucks so nothing waits on a second trip.
Hours depend on the day, so we never promise a total sight-unseen. What we will do is put the crew tier and rate in writing after the walk-through, before you commit. How the rates work, in detail.
Vaucluse is the home ground, from the Diamond Bay cliffs across the plateau to Nielsen Park and Parsley Bay. Around it, four neighbours with four different moving problems.
Cottage lanes at the peninsula tip. Small trucks, tight streets, ferry-village calm to keep.
Apartment country, lifts, loading zones and building managers. A different job, done differently.
Ridge-top family houses facing the Tasman. Wind, garages and school-run timing.
The heritage mansion belt on the hill. Long drives, big pieces, gates that predate trucks.
Swept path, turning room, and the shuttle method for the drives that were never drawn with a truck in mind.
