Removalist rates in Vaucluse

Try to find an hourly rate on any other firm working this suburb; you'll find a quote form. Ours are below, all of them, because straight answers about money are part of the trade.

Schedule of rates · In force
Tier 1 · Booked online

Two movers, one truck

Apartments, units and small moves

$200/hr online

$250/hr standard

Right for the Rose Bay end flats, walk-ups and lift buildings, and any move a single truck clears in a morning.

Tier 2 · Booked online

Three movers, one truck

Houses, two to three bedrooms

$250/hr online

$350/hr standard

The workhorse crew for most Vaucluse houses. The third pair of hands is what keeps a long garden carry moving.

Tier 3 · Booked online

Four movers, two trucks

Large homes, four bedrooms and up

$400/hr online

$500/hr standard

For the big established homes, decades of contents, two trucks so nothing waits on a second trip.

How the two rates work

The online rate applies when you book through this site, it's the same crews at a better number, because a booked-online job costs less to arrange and we hand the difference back. The standard rate is the book-by-other-means price. There's no catch between the columns; pick the cheaper one, it's why we print it first.

What an hour includes

The crew, the truck (or two, on the top tier), felt blankets, stretch wrap, straps, trolleys, track boards and floor protection. Materials you keep, cartons, paper, port-a-robes, are quoted separately and plainly with your plan, never smuggled into the hourly number.

Why we don't promise totals

Hours depend on the day: how packed you are when the truck arrives, how the access behaves, how far the carry runs. Anyone who prices a whole Vaucluse move sight-unseen is guessing, and the guess gets renegotiated on your driveway. Our version: the survey and walk-through set the crew tier and the plan, that goes to you in writing before you commit, and the clock runs honestly against it.

Which tier is yours?

As a steer: flats and small moves run the two-mover crew; most Vaucluse houses the three; the big established homes the four-and-two-trucks. The survey maps your answers to a tier in five minutes, and the walk-through confirms it.

Rates are the network's genuine published tiers, the same on the page as on the invoice. If a number here ever disagrees with your written plan, the written plan wins.

Money questions, asked often

The fine print, in plain type

Is there a minimum booking?

Bookings are by the hour against the published tier. How the hours are counted, including travel, gets stated in your written plan before you commit, so there's nothing to discover on the invoice.

Do stairs, pianos or long carries cost extra?

They cost time, not surcharges. A stair carry or a piano changes the crew size or the hours, and both are visible in the plan up front. You'll never find a line item invented after the fact.

What about packing materials?

Quoted separately with honest counts, and we'll tell you when you need fewer cartons than you think. Materials pricing comes with the written plan.

Interstate legs?

Interstate moves run through our national contractor network and are quoted per job rather than by these hourly tiers, distance changes the shape of the price. Ask in the enquiry and the callback will walk you through it.

Tell us about the move. We'll walk it before we quote it.

Send the address, the rough size, and anything you're worried about, the drive, the stairs, the piano. We phone you back, then confirm the plan on a walk-through.
